Stefano Venier has been the CEO of Snam since April 2022.

From 2014 to 2022, he served as the CEO of the Hera Group, where he joined in 2004, holding positions of increasing responsibility. From 1996 to 2004, he worked at A.T. Kearney, focusing on energy, telecommunications, and automotive, ultimately becoming the Vice President of Energy & Utilities.

From 1989 to 1996, he was with Eni, working both nationally and internationally in areas such as Strategic Planning, Market Analysis, and Strategic Projects in the petrochemical sector.

He began his professional career in 1987 at Electrolux, specializing in industrial automation.
