Almost half of the large industrial enterprises associated with prevede <strong>an increase in production<\/strong>significant or moderate (46.3%). More than one third expect <strong>stability<\/strong> (35.1%), while just under a fifth (18.6%) expect a <strong>contraction<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-20856 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/public.confindustria.it\/repository\/2025\/10\/29093847\/NIC1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"568\" height=\"531\" srcset=\"https:\/\/public.confindustria.it\/repository\/2025\/10\/29093847\/NIC1.png 568w, https:\/\/public.confindustria.it\/repository\/2025\/10\/29093847\/NIC1-480x449.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 568px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The balance related to<strong> demand and orders<\/strong> rises again and is again the main strength supporting production. In October it stood at 5.2%, after touching zero last month (Chart 2).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Business expectations on the <strong>availability of labour<\/strong> in the coming months improve: the balance in October was 0.8%, which follows 0.2% in the previous month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Negative balance for <strong>production costs<\/strong>in the October survey improved compared to the previous month while remaining negative (-4.2% from -5.3%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Judgments regarding the<strong> financial conditions<\/strong> remain firmly positive in the current month, declining slightly (1.5% from 2.0%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>As for the <strong>availability of materials<\/strong>, the balance of October responses dropped significantly and went into negative territory (-2.9% from 0.8%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The industrialists' verdict on the<strong> availability of facilities<\/strong> worsens significantly in the current month's survey (-0.4% from 2.4%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-20857 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/public.confindustria.it\/repository\/2025\/10\/29093853\/NIC2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"502\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/public.confindustria.it\/repository\/2025\/10\/29093853\/NIC2.png 502w, https:\/\/public.confindustria.it\/repository\/2025\/10\/29093853\/NIC2-480x688.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 502px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The flash survey on industrial production, conducted among large industrial companies affiliated with Confindustria, recorded a decline in expectations in October compared to the previous month.
