With the signature, the Parties intend to consolidate a structured and lasting institutional collaboration<\/strong> aimed at promoting the competitiveness of enterprises<\/strong>boosting investment in Italy and enhancing the contribution of the cohesion policy<\/strong> to the development of the country.<\/p>\nAt the heart of the agreement is the strengthening the role of territories<\/strong> in the attraction and retention of foreign investments, in synergy between the Conference of Regions, ABIE<\/strong> e Observatory of Foreign Enterprises (OIE)<\/strong> of Confindustria. The collaboration will also involve the regional representatives of the confindustrial system<\/strong>brought together in the CRR<\/strong>to promote a widespread culture of attractiveness and foster the administrative simplification<\/strong> through the digitisation of processes<\/strong>.<\/p>\nShared projects and digital simplification<\/h4>\n
The protocol provides for the organisation of meetings at regional level<\/strong> to strengthen dialogue between institutional and business actors, and collaboration with the OIE to identify local competitiveness factors<\/strong>production specialisations and innovation ecosystems.
\nAmong the priorities, a experimental digital simplification project<\/strong> aimed at overcoming bureaucratic bottlenecks in authorisation processes for foreign investments, improving transparency and decision-making time<\/strong> and providing common recommendations at national level.<\/p>\nJoint events and focus on the Single SEZ<\/h4>\n
The partnership will enhance important events such as 'Selecting Italy'<\/strong>promoted by the Conference of Regions, and theABIE Annual Meeting<\/strong>promoted by Confindustria, to strengthen the image of Italy as a competitive and reliable destination<\/strong> for foreign investors. Special attention will be paid to the Single SEZ<\/strong>as a strategic lever for the development of the Mezzogiorno.<\/p>\nTo support the activities, a Permanent Working Group<\/strong> composed of representatives from the regions, ABIE and the CRR, charged with monitoring progress and drawing up a annual report<\/strong> on the progress of the work.<\/p>\nBarbara Cimmino: 'Structured coordination to attract and consolidate foreign investment'<\/h4>\n\"Today we are starting a new phase,\" emphasised Barbara Cimmino<\/strong>, Vice President of Confindustria -: a structured coordination between ABIE and the Conference of Regions on the topic of foreign investments.
