Barbara Cimmino<\/strong>, Vice President for Export and Investment Attraction of Confindustria, and\u00a0Annalisa Sassi<\/strong>, President of the Regional Representatives Council of Confindustria, will participate in the\u00a0third edition of\u00a0Selecting Italy<\/em><\/strong>, in programme in Trieste on\u00a04 and 5 November 2025<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The event confirms itself as a reference point for the\u00a0promotion of foreign investment attraction<\/strong>\u00a0and for the\u00a0development of regional value chains<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the morning of\u00a05 November<\/strong>\u00a0will be signed the\u00a0Operational lines of collaboration<\/strong>\u00a0between\u00a0Confindustria<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces<\/strong>defining common working areas and tools for theattraction and consolidation of foreign investments in Italy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This will be followed by a\u00a0round table<\/strong>\u00a0with senior figures from foreign-controlled companies belonging to theAdvisory Board Foreign Investors (ABIE)<\/strong> of Confindustria.<\/p>\n

Selecting Italy 2025: Confindustria partners in the event dedicated to investment attraction in Trieste<\/p><\/div>\n

The initiative is organised by the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces and the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region<\/strong>with the collaboration of Confindustria<\/strong>which contributes to defining the content and enhancing the dialogue between companies, institutions and territories.<\/p>\n

The aim of the event is to strengthen Italy's role as a strategic destination for growth, innovation and industrial competitiveness<\/strong>fostering synergies between the national production system and international investors.<\/p>\n

Among the institutional interventions<\/strong> are planned:<\/p>\n

  • Massimiliano Fedriga<\/strong>, President of the Conference of the Regions and Autonomous Provinces;<\/li>\n
  • the ministers Giancarlo Giorgetti<\/strong> (Economy and Finance), Antonio Tajani<\/strong> (Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation), Paolo Zangrillo<\/strong> (Public Administration);<\/li>\n
  • the Deputy Minister Valentino Valentini<\/strong> (Business and Made in Italy).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    For\u00a0Confindustria<\/strong>\u00a0speakers will be\u00a0Barbara Cimmino<\/strong>,\u00a0Vice President for Export and Investment Attraction<\/strong>which will bring the vision of companies on strategies to make Italy more attractive, and Annalisa Sassi, President of the Regional Representatives Council of Confindustria<\/strong>which will illustrate the point of view of the territories and the role of regional policies to make them more competitive.<\/p>\n

    With its format combining conferences, networking and marketplace<\/strong>, Selecting Italy confirms itself as a meeting point between Regions, businesses and international investors<\/strong>and fostering the exchange of good practices and the construction of new development opportunities.<\/p>\n

    An opportunity for comparison between Government, local institutions and the production system<\/strong>to define common policies and consolidate the Italy's leadership in attracting foreign investment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
