From this need comes <strong data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"737\">ExPAnD<\/strong>an advanced tool that supports companies, associations and institutions in identifying the countries and sectors with the greatest potential for Made in Italy exports.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"1219\">Fruit of a research project developed by <strong>Confindustria<\/strong> together with the <strong data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"991\"><a href=\"https:\/\/fondazionemasi.it\/\">Manlio Masi Foundation<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0coordinated by Professor <strong data-start=\"1019\" data-end=\"1042\">Beniamino Quintieri<\/strong> and realised with <strong>Enrico Marvasi<\/strong>ExPAnD has been designed to respond concretely to the <strong>new challenges in international trade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h5 data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1253\"><\/h5>\n<h5 data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1253\">What ExPAnD allows you to do<\/h5>\n<p data-start=\"1255\" data-end=\"1356\">Through a flexible system based on selected quantitative indicators, ExPAnD makes it possible to<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul data-start=\"1357\" data-end=\"1636\">\n<li data-start=\"1357\" data-end=\"1426\">\n<p data-start=\"1359\" data-end=\"1426\">estimate the export growth potential by product and country;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1427\" data-end=\"1488\">\n<p data-start=\"1429\" data-end=\"1488\">identify expanding markets and more favourable sectors;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1489\" data-end=\"1565\">\n<p data-start=\"1491\" data-end=\"1565\">compare Italian performance with that of its main competitors;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1566\" data-end=\"1636\">\n<p data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1636\">highlight areas of excellence and possible room for improvement.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1638\" data-end=\"1984\">The analytical model is based on comparisons with countries similar to Italy, using key variables such as <strong data-start=\"1745\" data-end=\"1871\">market share, level of specialisation, average prices, variety of supply, income per capita and geographical distance<\/strong>. In this way, ExPAnD returns results <strong data-start=\"1918\" data-end=\"1983\">adaptable to different production sectors and regional contexts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h5 data-start=\"1986\" data-end=\"2027\"><\/h5>\n<h5 data-start=\"1986\" data-end=\"2027\">An 83 billion euro opportunity<\/h5>\n<p data-start=\"2029\" data-end=\"2451\">According to our estimates, Italy has a <strong data-start=\"2077\" data-end=\"2141\">additional export potential of approximately 83 billion euro<\/strong>which could enable the country to reach the government's ambitious target of the <strong data-start=\"2229\" data-end=\"2273\">700 billion in exports in the coming years<\/strong>. ExPAnD represents a <strong data-start=\"2297\" data-end=\"2346\">strategic ally to bridge this gap<\/strong>helping companies and decision-makers to seize the most promising opportunities with greater precision.<\/p>\n<h5 data-start=\"2453\" data-end=\"2500\"><\/h5>\n<h5 data-start=\"2453\" data-end=\"2500\">Building a system for international success<\/h5>\n<p data-start=\"2502\" data-end=\"2865\">Today, more than ever, it is essential <strong data-start=\"2534\" data-end=\"2595\">building a shared vision between companies and institutions<\/strong>.
