{"id":24576,"date":"2026-04-24T21:33:18","date_gmt":"2026-04-24T19:33:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.confindustria.it\/?post_type=documenti&#038;p=24576"},"modified":"2026-05-18T21:35:41","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T19:35:41","slug":"parliamentary-memorandum-from-confindustria-on-the-draft-legislative-decree-no-395-for-the-transposition-of-eu-directive-2024-1788","status":"publish","type":"documenti","link":"https:\/\/www.confindustria.it\/en\/documents\/parliamentary-memorandum-from-confindustria-on-the-draft-legislative-decree-no-395-for-the-transposition-of-eu-directive-2024-1788\/","title":{"rendered":"Confindustria\u2019s parliamentary submission on the draft legislative decree A.G. 395 for the transposition of Directive (EU) 2024\/1788"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Confindustria took part in the\u00a0<b>Series of hearings on the\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/www.camera.it\/leg19\/682?atto=395&amp;tipoAtto=atto&amp;idLegislatura=19&amp;tab=\" href=\"https:\/\/www.camera.it\/leg19\/682?atto=395&amp;tipoAtto=atto&amp;idLegislatura=19&amp;tab=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"1\">Draft Legislative Decree A.G. 395<\/a><\/b>, transposing the\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/IT\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=OJ:L_202401788\" href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/IT\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=OJ:L_202401788\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"2\"><b>Directive (EU) 2024\/1788<\/b><\/a>\u00a0concerning the\u00a0<i>\u201cCommon rules for the internal markets in renewable gas, natural gas and hydrogen\u201d<\/i>, in coordination with the\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/IT\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=OJ:L_202401789\" href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/IT\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=OJ:L_202401789\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"3\"><b>Regulation (EU) 2024\/1789<\/b><\/a>, conveying their\u00a0<b>Parliamentary report<\/b>\u00a0to the 10th Committee (Industry, Trade and Tourism) of the Chamber of Deputies.<b><u><\/u><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Overall, Confindustria has given a positive assessment of the transposition, whilst emphasising, however, that its effectiveness will depend on the ability to accompany it with policies capable of strengthening industrial competitiveness and reducing energy costs. In particular, Confindustria highlighted:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">the need for\u00a0<b>to reduce the gas price differential between Italy and the rest of Europe (TTF\/PSV spread)<\/b>, which continues to hamper the manufacturing sector;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">the further integration of European energy markets and the strengthening of supply mechanisms;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">the development of renewable gases, low-carbon gases and hydrogen, based on a pragmatic and industrially sustainable approach;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">adherence to the principle of technological neutrality, promoting all solutions capable of contributing to the transition;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">the need to ensure the orderly development of gas infrastructure, whilst avoiding any negative impact on businesses and consumers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Particular attention has also been paid to the issue of hydrogen, for which a realistic market needs to be established, starting with those industrial sectors where there is already concrete demand and addressing the crucial issue of costs, which are closely linked to the price of electricity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Please find attached the position paper setting out Confindustria\u2019s full position.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Confindustria ha partecipato al\u00a0ciclo di Audizioni sullo\u00a0schema di decreto legislativo A.G. 395, recante il recepimento della\u00a0Direttiva (UE) 2024\/1788\u00a0relativa alle\u00a0&#8220;Norme comuni per i mercati interni del gas rinnovabile, del gas naturale e dell\u2019idrogeno&#8221;, in coordinamento con il\u00a0Regolamento (UE) 2024\/1789, trasmettendo la propria\u00a0Memoria parlamentare\u00a0alla X Commissione (Attivit\u00e0 produttive, commercio e turismo) della Camera dei Deputati.
