{"id":24275,"date":"2026-04-23T10:29:15","date_gmt":"2026-04-23T08:29:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.confindustria.it\/?post_type=documenti&#038;p=24275"},"modified":"2026-04-23T10:29:15","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T08:29:15","slug":"reply-confindustria-consultation-eu-review-afir-april-2026","status":"publish","type":"documenti","link":"https:\/\/www.confindustria.it\/en\/documents\/reply-confindustria-consultation-eu-review-afir-april-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Response Confindustria EU Consultation AFIR Review - April 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_x_x_MsoNormal\"><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Confindustria participated in the\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/law\/better-regulation\/have-your-say\/initiatives\/16672-Review-of-EU-rules-on-alternative-fuels-infrastructure_en\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/law\/better-regulation\/have-your-say\/initiatives\/16672-Review-of-EU-rules-on-alternative-fuels-infrastructure_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"14\">public consultation<\/a>\u00a0initiated by the European Commission (DG MOVE) as part of the\u00a0<b>impact assessment for the revision of the\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/IT\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32023R1804\" href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/IT\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32023R1804\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"15\">Regulation (EU) 2023\/1804 - so-called AFIR<\/a><\/b>, aimed at gathering elements on critical issues, possible intervention options and their impacts, in view of the legislative proposal expected in Q4 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_x_x_MsoNormal\">In this context, Confindustria highlighted the need to overcome a purely quantitative approach to the Regulation, stressing that the evaluation of the effectiveness of the AFIR framework cannot be limited to the mere measurement of the number of infrastructures installed, but must include parameters relating to their actual usability, accessibility, economic sustainability and\u00a0<b>coherence with the evolution of demand and the different decarbonisation paths<\/b>.
