{"id":17747,"date":"2025-07-04T11:52:51","date_gmt":"2025-07-04T09:52:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.confindustria.it\/?post_type=documenti&#038;p=17747"},"modified":"2025-07-04T12:14:22","modified_gmt":"2025-07-04T10:14:22","slug":"clean-industrial-deal-cid","status":"publish","type":"documenti","link":"https:\/\/www.confindustria.it\/en\/documents\/clean-industrial-deal-cid\/","title":{"rendered":"Clean Industrial Deal (CID)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">On 02 July 2025, we took part in the Chamber of Deputies hearing on the <span style=\"color: #0070c0\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/presscorner\/detail\/it\/ip_25_550\">Clean Industrial Deal (CID)<\/a><\/span>during which we expressed the salient points of our position on the subject.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">We recognise the Clean Industrial Deal as a necessary step after the Green Deal, but emphasise its slowness and insufficient effectiveness. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Structural measures are needed to <\/span><b style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">lowering the cost of energy<\/b><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\"> (such as the decoupling of RES-E prices from natural gas prices) and a <\/span><b style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">tighter monitoring of the gas market<\/b> <b style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">European <\/b><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">and the TTF index.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">We ask for a <b>revision of the ETS scheme<\/b> (transparency, stability and restricted use of proceeds) <b>and CBAM<\/b> (export compensations). <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Also needed is a more pragmatic application of the DNSH principle, a proper use of the EU State Aid regime and an investment plan in low-carbon technologies and energy infrastructure.
