This approach, which is also inspired by the indications of the Draghi Report and is the result of discussions with stakeholders (including Confindustria), is positive and constitutes a first step towards a change of course on sustainability issues and a\u00a0<b>greater attention to aspects that risk limiting the competitiveness of companies<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The simplification action initiated is certainly useful, but especially for the due diligence framework, it must be pursued further.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b>They remain,\u00a0<\/b>in addition, some<b>\u00a0criticality<\/b>in particular remain the\u00a0<b>complexity of the 'Do not significant harm' (DNSH) principle<\/b>requirement for access to incentives and financial facilities financed from European resources, and lacks a<b>\u00a0coordination with financial regulation<\/b>\u00a0(which also imposes ESG obligations on banks with regard to small companies). Without a revision of these rules, regulatory simplification risks remaining on paper and displacing transition finance for companies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Positive is the launch of the\u00a0<b>Call for Evidence on SFDR<\/b>but a broader intervention is also needed on the\u00a0<b>banking regulations<\/b>.
