A giant with a turnover of 6.5 billion, operational from 2027, which will combine the space activities of the three groups.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a strong sign of vision and leadership,\" Marsiaj emphasises, \"which gives substance to the prospect of a more integrated and competitive European space ecosystem. It is also a clear message in support of European and national industrialisation, in line with the need to build common technological and production capabilities. At a time when many economic sectors are slowing down or experiencing difficulties, space remains a rapidly expanding area, with an estimated value of \u20ac1.6 trillion by 2035. In 2024, global public investment in the space sector reached \u20ac122 billion, of which \u20ac12.6 billion was in Europe, accounting for 10% of the total. Furthermore, explains Marsiaj, the next <strong>Multiannual Financial Framework of the European Union<\/strong> should allocate over \u20ac130 billion to investments in the defence, security and space sectors, five times the resources allocated in the previous programming period.
