{"id":23905,"date":"2026-03-31T12:14:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-31T10:14:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.confindustria.it\/?post_type=bandi-eu&#038;p=23905"},"modified":"2026-03-31T12:14:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T10:14:08","slug":"call-single-market-programme-agrifood-biotech-scaling-up","status":"publish","type":"bandi-eu","link":"https:\/\/www.confindustria.it\/en\/eu-tenders\/call-single-market-programme-agrifood-biotech-scaling-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for proposals Single Market Programme: Agrifood Biotech Scaling-up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The European Innovation and SME Council Executive Agency (EISMEA) has published a new call under the <strong>Single Market Programme (SMP): <\/strong><strong>Agrifood Biotech Scaling-up (SMP-COSME-2026-BIOAGRIFOOD)<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Single Market Programme <\/strong>is the EU funding programme that supports the single market in reaching its full potential. It has\u00a0<strong>EUR 4.2 billion<\/strong>\u00a0in the period 2021-2027.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The new call, \u201cAgrifood Biotech Scaling-up\u201d, aims to support projects that bring together biotechnology clusters from different countries.<\/strong> Each selected project will create a partnership with the aim of bringing together clusters, SMEs and other relevant entities in order to develop a structured collaboration to compete with major global hubs. Proposals must focus on advanced fermentation for food and feed applications in the agro-food sector.<\/p>\n<p>Projects should contribute to EU priorities, including strategic autonomy, sustainability, resilience and food security. They will also provide a <strong>targeted support for SME growth in various areas<\/strong> - from research and development (R&amp;D) and co-innovation through to testing and implementation - in order to strengthen their pathway to first commercial production.
