{"id":21933,"date":"2025-12-09T17:24:22","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T16:24:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.confindustria.it\/?post_type=bandi-eu&#038;p=21933"},"modified":"2025-12-09T17:30:42","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T16:30:42","slug":"call-for-proposals-innovation-fund-auction-call-for-industrial-process-heat-decarbonisation-2025","status":"publish","type":"bandi-eu","link":"https:\/\/www.confindustria.it\/en\/eu-tenders\/call-for-proposals-innovation-fund-auction-call-for-industrial-process-heat-decarbonisation-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Innovation Fund Call for Proposals \u2013 Auction Industrial Process Heat Decarbonisation 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the Innovation Fund, the European Commission has published the following call for proposals:<strong> \u201cFixed premium auction call 2025 for Industrial Process Heat Decarbonisation\u201d (INNOVFUND-2025-AUC-HEAT).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition to traditional calls, funding under the Innovation Fund may be awarded through auctions.<\/strong> which support projects after their launch and award grants following a competitive, price-based procedure.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cCall for tenders 2025 for Industrial Process Heat Decarbonisation\u201d<\/em> is a <strong>price-based auction. The funding does not cover investment costs, but provides a \u201cfixed premium\u201d per tonne of CO<\/strong><strong>\u2082<\/strong><strong> avoided<\/strong> (thanks to decarbonised industrial heat production), which will only be supplied once the plant becomes operational.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The auctions aim to make it economically viable for businesses to transition from heat generated by fossil fuels to clean heat, either electric or from renewable sources.<\/strong> Today, producing clean heat involves higher costs than using fossil fuels.
