EU Origin Marking Scheme

Further to the proposal of the Italian EU presidency to establish an effective legal framework for origin marking of imported industrial products, the European Commission has consulted UNICE on a working document providing for a platform of discussion based on three options. Confindustria has provided strong elements in favour of having a mandatory origin marking only for imported products.
